When going to the flower market, working in the fields or simply reading books, I like to learn things about flowers. In this article, I’m happy to share 5 fun facts and more about peonies! It’s the second chapter of the fun fact series on flowers that started with hydrangeas.

  2. Light pink peonies have a stronger fragrance than dark pink peonies

  3. They are native to Asia, Southern Europe and Western North America

  4. They are flowers we give to celebrate the 12th anniversary

  5. Once cooked and sweetened, their petals are used in desserts in China
