Why Mosaic?

When I started thinking about the name of the brand, there was a few prerequisites. It had to be available on Google, easily identifiable, representing the creative universe, pronounceable in english (international), french (mother tongue) and spanish (hometown)… Not an easy task, to say the least.

This is how I randomly started looking for invented words on the internet. “Botanicum” seemed to tick most of the boxes. Somehow, something was missing. I could not relate to this very expertise-almost-scientifical word.

I let it down for a few weeks and finally decided to take the bull by the horns and find something I truly believed in. I looked at photos of my bouquets, couldn’t stop thinking about my obsession for colors. I don’t just love them, I ADORE them. All colors make me happy, the brighter the better. I also love mix and matches, different patterns and don’t have one type of style in particular. This is how came the idea to cut out letters from magazines and just make up words. It took me a whole day to come to the word Mosaic. I went to my husband, he immediately said “This is it!”.

I couldn’t stop thinking about my obsession for colors. I don’t just love them, I ADORE them.

I wasn’t 100% sure, I’m never 100% sure of anything to be honest. But yes, when looking at the bouquets, it made sense. I let the name infuse for a few days. Started telling people. Gaudi is the king of mosaic. It’s the same word in catalan. When making bouquets, taking pictures on colored wall, the obsession started, again.

This was it, Mosaic was created.
